About us

Kids Unite 4 Hope is a non-profit organization and community of young global citizens transforming the world through volunteering, advocacy, inspiration, and friendship. We are passionate about helping people around the world who are in need and inspiring youth to be change makers.

Our organization is divided into three sections:

We are raising money for our global projects and campaigns to help people who are in need and give back. We are currently based in Athens, Greece where we are helping refugee children and families.

We are a community of young global citizens advocating for causes, sharing stories of others making a difference, and inspiring youth to raise their voices and make a positive impact on the world.

By learning about other young changemakers in our Kids Unite community, our goal is to inspire other kids and teens to join our movement promoting global awareness, open-mindedness, diversity, and unity.

That young people everywhere embrace the power and passion of their youth to create a peaceful planet filled with compassion, diversity, creativity, and friendship.

To inspire and empower youth to change the world through volunteering, advocacy, inspiration, and friendship.

Kids Unite 4 Hope started as a small family charity and has since grown to a global organization helping people all over the world. It all started when we (Gina, Todd,  Kaitlin-18, Cassidy-16, and Trevor-9)  discovered our passion for volunteering and helping people in 2015  after an impromptu trip to volunteer in Turkey with the Syrian refugees. For one month we worked to help Syrian families who were living on the streets or in camps and provided much needed supplies to them and their children. After this experience, we were so moved to make a difference that we decided to start our own non-profit to reach more kids and families in need.

Two years later, we have helped thousands of refugee children in Greece and Turkey and worked in many other countries including the United States, Italy, Jordan, Morocco, and Egypt. Our team is made up of people from many different countries and backgrounds who are all dedicated to inspiring youth and making a difference.

In 2016, we worked in Athens, Greece for 6 months in the Piraeus Port where we  provided English classes, math classes, activities, soccer tournaments, arts and crafts, and much more to refugee children from Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, and other war-torn countries. During our six months volunteering, we realized that we can make a difference as youth and that we are not too young to make an impact in the world and in people’s lives. We have also provided speaking engagements in high schools and to youth groups in the United States and Italy and did a workshop for young girls in Marrakech, Morocco with Project Soar.

We are currently based in Athens, Greece where we are partnering with the International Sports Federation, Global Serve, and a Greek organization Streetlights to provide classes and activities in our community center to refugee children and and train teams of high school and university-aged youth coming to volunteer and make a difference. We are so happy to see so many teenagers and youth coming to Greece to help and give back!

Our goal is to empower youth to make a difference in their communities and around the world and show them that they are not too young to change the world!

Our logo represents kids holding hands around the world. The hearts represent love and friendship. The Earth is green to show our desire to preserve our planet and the design as a whole represents peace and hope for the future.

Only when we come together with compassion and respect for our diversity can we unite without borders and achieve our dreams as global youth transforming the world.
