Meet Our Team!

Kaitlin Murray

Hi! I’m Kaitlin and I’m seventeen years old. My greatest passion is volunteering and helping people in need. I am currently traveling the world full time with my family, but I was raised in Venice, Italy. So far I have been to 38 countries across 4 continents, but that number will definitely keep rising.

Traveling has changed my life and shown me that the most important thing is giving back and helping others. As I travel, my goal is to connect with people from all cultures and gain a greater understanding of their traditions and beliefs. You will usually find me reading a book, writing in my Indiana Jones- style journal, or researching the next destination to volunteer in.

Gina Ingram Murray

 Marketing and Community Outreach

Gina has been following her dreams of traveling the world and helping others for the past 21 years. Although she grew up in Southern California, she has always had a passion for other countries and cultures and made it her mission to share this passion with her children and everyone she meets. She has lived in Mexico, Spain, France, Germany, The Netherlands, and 11 years in Italy.
For the past 3 years she has been working and volunteering while traveling full-time around the globe. Through Kids Unite 4 Hope, she is able to blend all of her passions into one cause and help encourage the youth of today to become global citizens and empower them to change the world for the better.

Cassidy Murray

Social Media and Creative Projects

Hi, my name is Cassidy and I am fourteen. I am traveling the world with my family and volunteering as we go. As we volunteer, our goal is to connect with the people we are helping and become their friends. I love meeting and playing with the refugee children and making them smile and laugh as they go on their journeys to Europe.

I believe that the world can become a better place if we all are kind, sweet, and compassionate to one another.

Reka Kaponay

Hope Contributor

Hi my name is Réka Kaponay. I am a 14-year-old girl who has been traveling the world with my parents and twin brother since June 2012 on a School of Life Journey, that has seen us travel to, visit and learn from the cultures and peoples of 30 countries across 6 continents. Learning is a passion for me and part of this is the human experience, the narratives that weave our collective stories together in this web of life. Travel has been the greatest teacher in helping me to understand that the act of giving is one and the same as the act of receiving. It has also shown me that whenever we can or we are asked to, we should give.

It is an uplifting experience that transcends the superficial and reconnects us to who I feel we are truly intended to be – human beings in service of each other. This is why volunteering my energies and efforts to assist people whenever and wherever we are, is critical to our ongoing journey. Whether that be playing with the orphan children in The Mother Teresa House Orphanage in Kolkata, or offering assistance to fellow travellers. My passions include reading and writing voraciously, making new friends and exploring off-the-beaten-path destinations.

Trevor Murray

Kid Ambassador – Friendship and Joy

Hi! My name is Trevor and I am 7 years old. I love to travel to many countries and meet new people who soon feel like family. Although my parents are from Southern California, I spent my first 5 years living in Venice, Italy. In 2013, my family left Venice and I began traveling around the world full-time – learning new things, helping and playing with kids in need, and making new friends . My mom says that I am like the charity mascot because I seem to spread joy and love wherever I go. I can’t wait to see how I can help more kids and become their friend as I continue volunteering with my family!

Susanna Virgilio

Susanna Virgilio considers herself a global citizen at heart. She developed a love of the world at a young age, studied abroad in Milan, then went back and lived in Italy for a year. She spent the first two years of her professional career working for non-profits in marketing and event planning, and now she works in southern California for a digital marketing firm. She loves helping spread love, peace, and hope across the world. The more children that can be given light and love in this world the better it will become.
